S.C. Stephens Marathon

     

I have spent the the past three days reading all things S.C. Stephens. I started with Thoughtless and all I can say is...HOW IN THE HECK DID I MISS THIS ONE!! I stayed up all night reading it, followed by another sleeples night reading the sequel, Effortless. After that,  I had to have more so I read It's All Relative & Collision. I wouldn't rate them quite as high as the Thoughtless series, but WOW!!! Her books are abundantly filled with so much emotioin and passion. Passion and NOT lust!

They're definitely for mature to adult readers because of the sexual content, but even that impressed me. I do NOT like erotica books and the reason I stick mostly with YA fiction is because of the sexual content of alot of adult fiction. It's usually super cheesy and unrealistic or filled with so much lust NOT love. I ususally feel dirty after reading it, but S.C. Stephens captures the essence of making love not screwing or (other word rhyming with chucking).

Conversion, the first novel in a three story vampire series, was released in the fall. Collision Course, a tragic, yet hopeful tale of love and loss was released in early 2010. The second Conversion novel came out next, along with It’s All Relative, a different take on a one night stand story.

In addition to writing, Stephens enjoys reading other people’s fabulous novels, loading up her iPod with writer’s block reducing music, heading out to the movie theaters, and spending quality time with her husband and children.
