Ava hates men, she has reason and she’s vowed not only never to get involved with another one again but also to exact vengeance on her best friend’s, lying, cheating husband. Since Luke, Ava’s childhood crush, is now a private investigator, she thinks to enlist him but changes her mind at the last second.
Too late, Luke knows she’s up to something and he’s already seen many a Rock Chick try to fight her own battles without the Hot Bunch stepping in. He’s having none of it. She’s having none of him. The clash of the Rock Chick and Hot Guy begins but Luke’s got the advantage. He has handcuffs and he’s not afraid to use them.
All I want to do is put this book on a stick and lick it!! This is my favorite Kristen Ashley book in the history of ever. I usually don't write reviews for KA's books because I read them faster than my reviews can keep up, but this was the exception to the rule. This was the exception to EVERY rule. They should erect (HA, I said erect) a statue in honor of Luke Stark.
I have to admit that I mentally shaved the "stache" in order to be able to have fictional sex with Luke, but that's okay because everything else was perfect! This book took every thing I like about other KA books and put it all together in one place. One kick ass, body blowing, mind numbing place. You will feel it...EVERYWHERE!! I'm surprise this book didn't just combust; I'm surprised I didn't combust!! Put this book on the top of your TBR list. Hell, make this book your entire TBR list. I don't care, just read it!!
ROCK ON!!!

Oh Mollie... I knew there was a reason I liked you! This is my FAVORITE KA book and I've read just about all of them. Luke... sigh.... my kindle is named after him if that tells you anything lol
ReplyDeleteYour kindle must do ALOT more than mine ;-)
DeleteLOL. I wish, it only seems to be missing a umm... "certain" feature ;)
DeleteDo you need to read the other books in the series first?
ReplyDeleteSomebody emailed me the exact same question about KA books and here's what I told them (I'm lazy so I just copied and pasted, lol)
DeleteThey can all in theory be read as a stand alone, but her characters are interwoven throughout the series. Nothing that will cause huge spoilers, but it is easier to read them in order, but not absolutely necessary. I would say you need to read the first Rock Chick before any of the other Rock Chicks but after you get that one behind you it really doesn't make a huge difference. Rock Chick Revenge is my #1 favorite Rock Chick, HANDS DOWN!!!! Rock Chick Regret being a close second. Though I am saying you can read them out of order, things do come up in some books where it is nice to know what happened between some of the characters in earlier books. The Colorado Mountain series, in my opinion, can easily be read out of order! Same thing as far as interwoven characters, but not as closely related.
I probably just confused you more...oops ;-)
